Maybe it’s that fact that we will guarantee only the freshest meats available including hand cut, USDA Choice Angus Beef. It could be the great items that we make from scratch and are only available in our stores…items that customers come back for time and time again. It may even be the fact that we are locally-owned and operated, a pleasant shopping experience when compared to those big, “drab” box stores that a person could spend all day walking around in trying to find someone who can honestly answer a question.

Jones’ Food Center is all this and more. We’re very proud of the reputation that we have as a store that customers consider “their own store,” where everyone knows everyone and you are treated with the utmost honesty, consideration and respect. You just don’t find that everywhere, anymore.

We’re particularly proud of our customer service. At Jones’ Food Center, our team will greet you, react to your needs, escort you to things in which you are looking for, anticipate that you may need help and ask how they can help and finally, they will thank you. They will thank you for choosing us as your shopping destination. We certainly realize that you have many shopping choices, and the fact that you chose us, means a lot.

And we still carry out your groceries to your vehicle. In an age where the big box stores are removing carry out service and drive-up service in order to save money on payroll, we feel that carry out service is still the utmost of service that you can and should, receive.

We also feature some GREAT products that are considered “specialty” items at Jones’ Food Center. We call these our “Signature Items.” You won’t find these anywhere but at Jones’ Food Center. Try them and you will agree…they are special!

Homemade Bratwurst
Grilling season means fresh bratwurst and boy, do we have a brat for you! Good brats start with good seasoning and our seasoning is second to none.  And we use only fresh, lean sausage. Always plump and juicy, this is the kind of brat you’ll be proud to serve your guests. Plus, we can even pre-cook them for you so they’re ready for the grill!

Onion Pepper Burgers
Freshly made in our Parker location and available to be delivered to any store, you won’t believe how good Tony’s onion pepper burgers are!  Take a 1/3 lb lean ground chuck, mix it with fresh, finely diced red peppers and purple onions and top it with a secret steak seasoning, and you have the ultimate burger!

Rolepolse Sausage
A Danish favorite out of our Viborg store. Kirk’s homemade Medista-polse features a salt/pepper/onion combo with lean ground sausage while his Rolepolse adds a touch of cloves. A mouth-watering sausage to say the least!

Mister Smith’s Peasant Bread
You won’t find a better loaf of bread that is great with any meal. Known as the perfect loaf of everyday bread, it can be toasted, sliced for gourmet grilled sandwiches or dunk it in soup. Larry’s Peasant Bread is certainly a beautiful specimen of baking excellence!

Mister Smith’s Salted Baguette
People come from miles away to pick up a salted baguette. Problem is, once you get in your car, the aroma of the bread invites one nibble… and then another…and then another. By the time you get home, half the loaf is gone! With a crisp crust and a soft, chewy core and the flavor of olive oil throughout…and topped with coarse ground salt, you’ll see why this is Larry’s most popular bread!

Mister Smith’s Chicken Salad
One taste and you’ll be hooked. We use only fresh cooked chicken, cut into chunks rather than minced, combine it with the right amount of secret spices, sliced fresh grapes and pecans. Our chicken salad has that little “zing” that leaves you wanting more. Have it served on one of Larry’s seeded rolls for optimum taste pleasure!

Cakes by Monica
You might think that Monica’s cakes are all about the decorating, and that might be true. She has won many awards as the region’s premier cake decorator.  But remember, her cakes are freshly baked right in our ovens. And she uses only homemade buttercream frosting. Made to perfection with our own special touches, and without frozen cake or pre-made frosting, count on your special event being even more so with a cake from Cakes by Monica.

Dole Premium Bananas
All fruit is not created equal. That’s why we sell only Dole Premium Bananas. Sure, we could put a lesser-known banana that might cost a little less on our produce rack, but we refuse to. We want to feature the best…for the best…our customers! Plus, we sell lots of locally grown produce including sweet corn, squash, watermelon and Forrestburg muskmelons. And we sell fresh-cut fruit bowls in our stores rather than the pre-made packages that were cut in some factory last week and then shipped a few states away. Really now, how fresh is that?

Godfather’s Pizza
Located within our Parker and Vermillion stores, you can get some of the finest pizza made by Godfather’s Pizza. We fresh make mini, medium and large sizes and even feature calzones, chicken wings, garlic cheese bread, monkey bread and chicken strips. Call ahead and we’ll have your order ready for pick-up!
