Since 1979...
Tom and Linda Jones of Viborg, South Dakota, have been in the retail grocery business. They bought a grocery store in Viborg that they still operate today. Slowly, yet surely, they expanded into other Southeastern South Dakota communities. Their business was built on honesty, integrity and hometown service.

In 1995, Tom and Linda’s youngest daughter Nikki and her husband Gregg Peters bought the grocery store in Vermillion, South Dakota. Eventually, they got into grocery stores in Elk Point and Parker, South Dakota. In fact, our newest facility in Parker is the one-stop “crown jewel” of the town. Looking to branch out and diversify, and give customers in smaller communities more options, Gregg and Nikki opened a hardware store called Jones Ace Hardware in Vermillion. Another followed in Madison, South Dakota, a couple years later. And just this past year, Gregg and Nikki took over management of Vermillion Wine & Liquor in Vermillion.

Today, with the help of all of their fine, hard-working and customer-service oriented employees, Tom, Linda, Gregg and Nikki proudly operate these stores based upon solid business practices. These include superior customer service, competitive prices, top-quality products and value to all of their shoppers.

We are supplied by Affiliated Foods Midwest out of Norfolk, Nebraska. Affiliated is the premier grocery supplier to the independently owned grocery store and supplies nearly 1000 stores in the Midwest. Their motto is, “We buy together to sell for less.” With Affiliated Foods, as well as our other vendors, we have access to over 40,000 different items. That means that if you’re looking for something, we can usually find it.
